You are looking at a Greenpower USA F24 Kit! This kit is designed for students in Grades 6-12.
This kit is designed to be built by students in Grades 6-12 in approximately 15 hours. Once assembled, students work on aerodynamic body designs and creatively decorate the skin of the car.
The F24 kit must complete a 90-minute endurance race on a single set of two 12V batteries. Reaching up to speeds of approximately 25 mph, Greenpower teams must balance speed and efficiency to win an event.
Follow along with Cougar Strong Racing’s 000 car in a lap during the Diverse Power Grand Prix held in LaGrange, GA. These middle school drivers showcase technical skills and critical thinking during all race events.
Greenpower USA's F24 program not only focuses on the technical aspects of designing and building electric cars, but it also incorporates a presentation component that is equally valuable. Through this component, students are given a platform to showcase a variety of soft skills that can benefit them in any workplace. In addition to their engineering prowess, participants in the F24 program are encouraged to develop their communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. By delivering presentations on their projects, students not only demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter, but they also hone their ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. This prepares them for future endeavors where effective communication plays a vital role in achieving success.
