Pit Setup and Scrutineering

The paper you scanned was in your team’s designated pit area. HOLD ONTO THIS PAPER. YOU WILL NEED IT LATER IN THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Each team has been given an assigned Pit Area. You have approximately 10-15 feet across to set up a tent per space. Unload your car and equipment as quickly as possible so that we can move your vehicle/trailer as soon as possible to allow room for more people to arrive and unload their items as well. Once your vehicle/trailer is unloaded, please make sure you park the vehicle/trailer in the designated team parking area.

After your car has passed inspection, the scrutineers will give you instructions on where to put your car in quarantine.

While the team is unloading the trailer, an adult representative can come to the Check-In at the white trailer near Pit Entrance (where you came into the site). Please bring your laminated paper AND orange PARKING CONE to Check-In. Come to the open window on the side closest to the Pit Areas. At Check-In, you will be given the next set of instructions, which include getting your 2025-2026 number stickers, a copy of the Self-Certification form and Scrutineering Form and instructions on where to get inspected.

Once your area is set up and the vehicle/trailer is parked, please begin the process of preparing your car for inspection. Your car must be in race-ready condition with your batteries installed in order to be inspected.

You are only ready for inspection when you have completed the following:

  1. Filled out the Certificate of Self-Compliance (you can get a copy at the timing trailer at check-in)

  2. Completed your own Scrutineering form (you can get a copy at the timing trailer at check-in) for each of your cars

  3. Installed your Race Day batteries

Once you have completed these three items, then can you bring your car to the Scrutineering area.

There is no charging of batteries today during the event.
