Sticker Placement
Inside your team’s envelope are the stickers your team has earned from your previous events.
The ROAD TO DEGA stickers show the letters D, E, G and A. Each letter shows your progress towards qualifying for the National Championships at Talladega Superspeedway.
You may also find stickers with a previous event name at the top. These are given to teams that placed in the Top 3 of a category at that particular event.
The pictures and descriptions below show you where they need to be placed on your car. These placements were specifically called out in the Rules Document (T14.10).
You will receive the next letter for DEGA after your car passing inspection and GPUSA receiving the appropriate presentation for the event. If you have questions, please contact Drew.
The above picture shows the driver right side of the car with the Road to Dega stickers on the bottom of the side panel and the event podium stickers on the top section of the side panel.
This particular team has competed in three events so far. That is why you see only three of the four letters for DEGA. At their next event, they will receive the “A” signifying they have qualified for Nationals.
This particular team has placed in the Top 3 for their category at two events: the Toyota Classic and the Toyota Hub City Grand Prix. The two stickers shown signify their accomplishment.
If your team did not podium (ie Top 3 in the category), you will not receive a sticker for that event.
